I jumped on a party boat out of Brielle yesterday to do some bottom fishing. First drop was a pick with a few doggies, pout, and a ling for me. There were a few cod boated as well. The next drop was further out in the deeper water and produced much of the same but in larger numbers. I added some more of the usual suspects as well as a few short cod and a nice 12.5 pounder. Weather was nice and the seas were friendly.
