Surf Fishing Radio Show This Saturday: My guest for this Saturday September 26 will be Legendary Surfcaster and author Frank Daignault. Frank appeared last season and is looking forward to doing it again this month. Surf Reports This Season: With the closing of many tackle shops over the last season or two and many taking to the beach on foot now with the bad economy for boating, we need to band together and help each other as surfcasters. No tackle shop in Long Beach any more and the ones around the area are not really geared to surf fishing and they drop like flies every so often. I can’t be on every beach all the time so we need to help each other. I will also be Twittering reports and beach conditions this fall so twitter.com/TheFishingLine.
Since many of you use the fishing reports off www.thefishingline.com (http://www.thefishingline.com) and the phone Hotline Reports at 516-977-2088, I and many other surf anglers would sure appreciate it if we all would report our activities in a timely fashion. If you’re on a beach and it’s full of weed, please E mail me rich@thefishingline.com or call me from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 516-889-6895 or my cell at 516-435-8382. I’ll put the fishing and/or beach condition reports on the web site and the phone lines. We need to all help each other and be “eyes” on the beach for all of us. You can post them yourselves on our Message Boards at www.thefishingline.org (http://www.thefishingline.org) and for NJ at www.NJanglers.org (http://www.NJanglers.org). Thanks…Rich Johnson
